Free Group Hike to Pumpkin Rock

Group Meetup Hike at Pumpkin Rock Trail Let's celebrate spooky season with a group hike at the famous Pumpkin Rock Trail in Norco, CA. Connect with fellow hikers, breathe in the fresh air, and marvel at the rock's unique features. Event Highlights:

Explore the renowned 1.7-mile loop trail, a moderate hike suitable for most, taking roughly 53 minutes to complete.

Discover Norco Hills and its maze of interwoven trails. With its contained setup, feel the freedom to wander and experience nature's serenity.

Experience a popular birding hotspot, hike, and even spot horseback riders.

Date: October 22nd

Meeting Point: Pikes Peak Park Parking Lot (111 Sixth St, Norco, CA 92860). Look for our event banner/sign.

Time: 9AM

Things to Remember:

Weather Considerations: There's no shade on the trail, so come prepared with a hat and ample water, especially if the sun's blazing.

Footwear Matters: Equip yourself with sturdy shoes or hiking boots. Crocs and sandals are a big no-no! Trail can be steep in areas

Bathroom Facilities: Available at Pikes Peak Park, a mere 2-minute walk from the trailhead. It's advisable to use these facilities before starting the hike.

Dogs: Furry friends are welcome on-leash.

For those using GPS, input the trailhead address as Norco Animal Control Shelter, Norco, CA, 92860, USA. Parking is available at Pikes Peak Park Parking Lot.

Note: While there are numerous routes within the Norco Hills, we'll be sticking to our designated trail for the group meetup. You're encouraged to wear comfortable fitness attire given the trail's nature.
