SPEED DATING EVENT RULES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AGREEMENT

 

Introduction

This document sets forth the rules and responsibilities for both the Organizers and Participants of Speed Dating Events. It is intended to ensure a respectful, enjoyable, and safe experience for all involved.
 

Section 1: Rights of Organizers
 

  1. Authority to Refuse Service: As organizers of the Speed Dating Event, we reserve the unequivocal right to refuse service or participation to any individual at any point before or during the event. This right is exercisable in our sole discretion and judgment to ensure the safety, comfort, and effective conduct of the event.

  2. Grounds for Refusal: Service may be refused for, but not limited to, the following reasons: non-compliance with the event's rules and regulations, disruptive or inappropriate behavior, failure to respect the rights and dignity of other participants or staff, or any actions that compromise the orderly and respectful atmosphere of the event.

  3. Participants' Expectations: All participants are expected to adhere to the highest standards of conduct. This includes, but is not limited to, showing respect towards fellow participants and staff, engaging in civil and polite conversation, adhering to the event’s schedule, and respecting the personal boundaries of others.

  4. Implementation of Refusal: In exercising this right, we will communicate the decision to the affected participant in a respectful and discreet manner. The decision shall be final and not subject to dispute during the event.

  5. Compliance with Laws: This clause is aligned with applicable state and federal laws, ensuring non-discrimination on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or other protected characteristics.
     

Section 2: Participant's Behavior

  1. Prohibition of Disruptive Conduct: All participants are obligated to refrain from any forms of disruptive behavior. Violation of this rule may lead to immediate expulsion from the event.

  2. Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Harassment, including passive-aggressive conduct towards participants, staff, or hosts, is strictly prohibited. This includes any actions that compromise the dignity or comfort of others.

  3. Dress and Safety Code: Participants are required to adhere to the dress code and conduct rules of the venues or general public places, ensuring their actions do not breach safety, privacy, or anti-discrimination principles.

  4. Expected Decorum: Participants are expected to display respect, sincerity, cooperation, and understanding throughout the event.
     

Section 3: Adherence to Event Structure
 

  1. Punctuality and Compliance: Participants must arrive on time and follow the event's schedule and instructions as directed by the organizers. Organizers may not able able to accommodate late arrivals.

  2. Mandatory Engagement: Skipping the arranged dates is not permitted, as it disrupts the event's continuity and can create an unwelcoming atmosphere and / or feelings of exclusion.

  3. Engagement in Dates: Avoiding or making other participants wait is not permitted. Organizers may ask non-compliant participants to leave the event. 
     

Section 4: Communication and Conduct

  1. Reporting Issues: Participants must immediately bring any issues, questions, concerns, or confusions to the attention of the organizers.

  2. General Conduct: Participants are expected to:

    • Arrive on time.

    • Follow the host’s instructions.

    • Treat others with respect.

    • Dress appropriately.

    • Respect personal boundaries.

    • Maintain an open mind.

    • Keep the conversation balanced.

    • Avoid quick judgments.

    • Provide feedback positively.

    • Keep conversations light and fun.

Agreement

By participating in this Speed Dating Event, you agree to adhere to these rules and responsibilities. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event and potential prohibition from future events.

Organizers reserve the right to modify these rules as necessary to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
