Sunset Hike to Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook

Time: Meet at 5:00 PM 

Meeting Point: Outside of the Boneyard Dog Park, Duquesne Avenue.

Event Description:

Join us for a  1.5 mile roundtrip hike up to the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook. This is the perfect opportunity to step away from the city's hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. The trail boasts picturesque views, and reaching the top just as the sun sets is truly a sight to behold.

Our hike will begin promptly at 5:30 PM from the Boneyard Dog Park on Duquesne Avenue. As we ascend, you'll witness the expansive Los Angeles cityscape unfold beneath you. Once we reach the top, we'll pause to enjoy the captivating sunset, breathe in the fresh air, and revel in the camaraderie of fellow nature enthusiasts.

After the hike, for those interested in capping off the evening with some delicious food and refreshing drinks, we'll be heading over to Citizens Public Market in Culver City. A great opportunity to refuel and bond with your fellow hikers.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable hiking shoes
• Water bottle
• Light jacket (temperatures can drop after sunset)
• Camera or smartphone (for those breathtaking shots!)

Whether you're a hiking novice or a seasoned trailblazer, this event is designed for all. Let's come together to appreciate the beauty of nature, get a bit of exercise, and make some beautiful memories.
