Join us for a relaxing island adventure on Catalina Island. Choose your own adventure, and take it as fast or slow as you would like. Explore Avalon City with a group of new friends and fun singles! Enjoy everything from ziplining, to submarine rides, food tours, or even a drink on the beach! Don't miss this chance to explore one of the most scenic destinations in Southern California.
Itinerary (Please note, the following times are estimates, there's always possibility of delays occuring):
7:00AM: Meet at 320 Golden Shore, Long Beach, CA 90802 -- You must check in directly with us no later than 7:00AM
8:15AM: Set Sail with Catalina Express - Enjoy the early morning views of dolphins and seals as we set out on our journey. We will spend the next hour mixing and mingling, while enjoying the views. Drinks and snacks available for purchase; do not miss the famous Spicy Bean Bloody Mary -- the perfect boost to your morning adventure.
~9:15AM: Arrive in Avalon - Enjoy the picturesque Mediterranean architecture and harbor as we make our way to our first adventure hike around Mt. Ada. Arrival time is rough estimate, generally takes 1 hour.
9:15AM - Scenic Adventure Group Hike (Mt. Ada Loop) (Length. 4.63 mi. Elev. gain. 469 ft.) - Group Walking Tour & Hike to Wrigley's Mansion (Included) - Explore the rich history of Avalon on foot -- From wildlife, to golf carts and Wrigley's chewing gum, we will explore a little bit of everything the island has to offer.

Adventure Options (Optional, Additional Ticket Must Be Purchased at Links Below) We strongly advise not to book any tour earlier than 10AM or any later than 6PM -- it is your responsibility to allow enough time to get to/from the ferry in time for any tours scheduled):
1. Submarine Undersea Tour: Discover the underwater world of Catalina Island during a 45-minute ride on a semi-submarine. The semi-sub allows you to view the marine life of Avalon Bay as you dive six feet (two meters) below the surface at Lovers' Cove. Stay dry as you get a close look at fish feeding around the submarine, then take in views of the island from your vessel's top deck during the return journey to Avalon. 2. Glass Bottom Boat: Discover life under the surface of the Pacific Ocean on a glass-bottom boat tour from Catalina Island. Board your vessel in Avalon and enjoy views of colorful fish, coral, and other sea life while you sail. 3. Ziplining: Propel down 5 separate zip lines dropping from 600 feet above sea level with one run that is 1,100 lineal feet long all on its own. This incredible Catalina zip line experience will forever change your idea of what a tour should be. You will travel nearly three-quarters of a mile over five consecutive zip lines at heights of 300 feet above the canyon floor at speeds pushing 40 mph. 4. 2-Hour Inside Adventure Tour: This two-hour adventure tour of Catalina’s spectacular interior will introduce you to the unique and protected side of the island that few visitors get to see. We’ll venture ten miles to the Airport-in-the-Sky and be on the lookout for wildlife, including bald eagles, bison, deer and the endemic Catalina Island fox. 5. Â 1-Hour Mermaid Snorkeling Experience: This tour is a fun way to experience the ocean. It is a great way to learn how to swim in a mermaid tail safely, and gracefully. Learn how to do some bubble tricks underwater. Enjoy pictures and videos from your class of you as a mermaid! You will wear a mermaid tail, mask and snorkel. You can breathe, look for fish, and stay on the surface, or hold your breath and dive under, becoming a true mermaid. Click Here for Tickets

~11AM - Lunch Time -- Split into groups with new friends to explore some of the local restaurants.

1:00-4:00PM: Free Time -- enjoy a walk around downtown, play some games in the arcade, enjoy the shops or go on a small hike. There is a botanical garden within walking distance, as well as mini golf.
4:00-6:30PM: Drinks at Descanso Beach - this is one of the only beaches in California where you can enjoy a drink right on the sand. Kick back and relax while taking in ocean views; take a dip if you decided to bring your bathing suit. Come hang out, relax, and make some new friends.
7:15PM - Be back at the loading dock no later than 7:15PM, our ferry back to Long Beach leaves at 7:45PM and boarding usually started earlier than that. Reconnect with the friends you made throughout the day-- share pictures and memories, and get ready for the hour-long journey back home.
