About this hike:

Discover this 4.5-mile out-and-back trail near Pacific Palisades, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 32 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. You'll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail.

The Los Leones Trail is accessible from a small parking area along Los Liones Drive. The trail travels through some wooded areas before opening up and offering views of the canyon. As you head towards the East Topanga Fire Road there are views of the ocean. The fire road is exposed, so be sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen
