To make the most of your time at Universal Studios Hollywood, it's crucial to plan your visit in advance. Research the park's layout, attractions, and shows to create a strategic itinerary. Check the official website for updated information on operating hours, special events, and any ride closures or maintenance. Purchasing tickets online in advance can save you time and potentially help you secure preferred time slots for popular attractions. If you are an annual passholder, always make sure to check your blackout dates before arriving at the park!
Arrive Early to Beat the Crowds (and See NintendoWorld!):
Arriving at the park early is a smart move to beat the crowds and enjoy shorter wait times for popular attractions. Getting there immediately when the park opens allows you to have a head start and experience the most sought-after rides and attractions with minimal waiting. You'll have a chance to explore the park before it gets crowded, ensuring a more enjoyable experience. We recommend immediately heading over to the lower lot to join the line to enter NintendoWorld. The line can get long, but it moves quickly! You'll also want to experience this part of the park early before it gets hot (this area tends to get A LOT of sun mid-day).
Nintendo World:
Immerse yourself in a pixelated paradise as you step into the vibrant world of Nintendo. Experience the latest addition to Universal Studios Hollywood, where beloved characters like Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach come to life. Embark on epic adventures, challenge Bowser's mischievous schemes, and feel the rush of excitement on state-of-the-art rides and attractions. From fun games and challenges, to testing your skills in the real-life Mario Kart experience, Nintendo World promises a gaming extravaganza that will leave you grinning like a power-up mushroom.
Utilize Single Rider Lines:
To maximize your time and reduce wait times for popular attractions, take advantage of the single rider lines. By opting for the single rider option, you may have to ride separately from your group but will enjoy a significantly faster wait time. For example, if you're eager to experience the thrilling Bowser's Challenge ride in Nintendo World, utilizing the single rider line can help you breeze through the queue and enjoy the exhilarating ride sooner. Rides that you can usually do single rider:
Bowser's Challenge (Nintendo World)
Transformers
The Mummy Returns
Jurassic World
The Forbidden Journey (Harry Potter)
The Epic Return of WaterWorld:

In addition, enjoy quick snacks or a light meal by bringing your own food or indulging in the park's various dining options. The Three Broomsticks is by far our favorite choice for a satisfying meal, featuring rotisserie-style chicken, fish and chips, shepherd's pie, and don't forget the Butter beer! We recommend grabbing a butter beer along with your meal -- that means you'll be standing in one less line!
Take Breaks and Enjoy the Park's Amenities:
While exploring the park, be sure to take breaks and make use of the park's amenities. Seek out shaded areas to rest and relax, or dine at one of the park's restaurants to refuel. Consider renting lockers to store your belongings while you enjoy the rides and
